Bocas Gavilan Ridge Spring 2023

Located on the hill identified as BT-678 (but known by the locals as gavilan hill), it is surrounded by vegetation but with excellent views of almost 360 degrees of the area. It has an elevation of 678 m (2,224 ft) that allows you to see the Caribbean coast and mountain ridges to the east, west and south. No counts have been made at this site, but counts from the community of Bajo La Esperanza have been observed as birds pass through this site regularly during the migratory season.

This site is localized in a mountain identify as BT-678 (678m/2 224ft a.s.l.), Changuinola District, Bocas del Toro province, Republic of Panama. (Coordinates 9.247782, -82.50665). This site is near to the Bajo La Esperanza Community (2.3 hours walking)
